This is great value for money and really easy to set up. It’s a really pretty tank and looks beautiful in our lounge. It’s a perfect size for a couple of cold water fish and comes with a lovely light and very effective pump. Would definitely recommend.

Lid catches seem a little flimsy when pushing into the trim, tho do require a firm push to get in. Only do one at a time! No plant as mentioned in the description though, which makes the tank look a bit disappointing now it is up and running (cycling).

This tank is a great upgrade for my fish. It's not bad quality, has thought in the design (routing wires etc..). My main criticism is that the pump is too powerful for the tank (hence only 3 stars). The most fish that would fit that tank (e.g. Guppies) would get blown around and probably get too stressed. If it shipped with the smaller model (CF 20) it would be more appropriate. This tank is only 17L but the pump is rated for a MINIMUM of 20L, i noticed on the Ciano website even the smaller tank ships with the CF40 which is crazy since that pump may even kill fish in a tank of that size, I hope they fix this.

Box it came in was damaged opened up to find a huge crack in the glass a chunk of the corner broken off so gutted I spent that much money just to throw it in the bin
