This tank is really nice and has all the parts for an amazing price. I found a few things difficult, but otherwise it looks really good. First of all like other people i struggled to get the filter on, i believe i did it correctly and have posted a picture of it to help others like me (i put the blue filter sponge under the green). Second thing was the size of the tank, according to the details its a 30x20x30. This was a perfect size for the place i wanted it to fit in. However, when i tried to put the tank in that space it wouldnt fit. The lid is curved so the tanks height from the front is 30cm but the back is actually 32cm. I managed to take off the screws and push the lid down down enough to fit in my space. Also it's actually made some sort of heavy duty plastic. Overall im really happy with this purchase and with everything in place it looks amazing. Its a perfect set up for beginners.

The tank is glass, just the right size for my requirements. I am more than disappointed with the pump. It is also worth mentioning that the metal ‘gantry’ positioned across the tank to support the filter is not removable and cuts down access to the tank considerably.

This fish tank was perfect for our kitchen and great for the first couple of months ... and then the pump stopped working and the light started flickering. The seller agreed to send a new pump out after a few months of chasing. I sent them my address as requested and have not heard from them since, despite sending numerous messages! They are just not interested :-( Shame because this was lovely whilst it was working!!!

This fish tank looked good and was a practical size. For the price you can’t really be too picky! Unfortunately it isn’t suitable from the get go as there is no filter. Whilst I was able to get it working initially, there were a few issues such as the plug adapter, lack of instructions, etc. The equipment it comes with won’t last, as mine unfortunately gave up pretty soon. So as a tank on its own I’d say it’s good, but overall as a fully functional set up I can’t recommend as you would need to replace everything for it to be suitable.

its not a very good design. the filter sponge is absolutely hopeless the lid is flimsy the pump thing falls apart when the fish touch it. the filter plate cant be moved. i would not recommend water is never clear due to poor filter

Very good value for money, it was the perfect size for the small space I had. Decided to not use the provided light as the plug was a bit small so I didn't feel comfortable leaving on. I also Decided not to use the filter as I had been advised, foam filters and a small air pump would work better and be quieter, especially as the tank is in my bedroom, so I can't comment on the quality of the filter that was provided. But still a very good, cheap, starter tank.
